2011 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class Overview

The Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class is a recent entry in the premium SUV segment. It features a defined exterior and a stylish interior, focusing on passenger safety and comfort.

The GLK consists of two models, a rear-wheel drive GLK350 and the all-wheel drive GLK350 4MATIC. The drivetrain consists of a 268-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine, mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission with TouchShift manual shift control. Both versions of the GLK are equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, cruise control, 8-way power front seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Standard safety features include electronic stability control, electronic traction control, brake assist, active front head restraints, as well as front, side, and side curtain airbags. New for 2011 are driver and passenger pelvic airbags, and a driver knee airbag. Available features include a panorama sunroof, a harman/kardon sound system, and a hard-drive navigation system.
